I was inspired to get into this business because of my grandfather, the late Marcel Barend Broekman.
Marcel Broekman was a Cinematographer (Camera and Electrical Department) and Producer. The last film he worked on was The Amityville Horror (1980).
From 1962-1980, founders Marcel Broekman & Ron Salandproduced and directed the following featurettes for upcoming theatrical releases for television broadcast on CBS, NBC and ABC. Read more here: https://marcelbroekman.biz/
As well, my great grandfather, Barend Broekman, miraculously saved my great grandmother, grandfather and granduncle during the Holocaust / World War II. He had recently produced and won best picture in Paris, France for his 1938 film ‘Les Trois Valses‘ (The Three Waltzes) with Yvonne Printemps.
